My sister and I both contracted Covid-19 (off property) and tested positive at Walt Disney World on the second day of what was meant to be a 6 day runDisney and sisters trip! We were staying at Old Key West, but upon learning that we had Covid, Disney moved us to the Cabins at Fort Wilderness to isolate safely. In this video I take you along and show you our experience of having Covid at Walt Disney World, how it was handled, and what we got up to - and I have to say, despite the circumstances, Disney really handled it all wonderfully!

Of course I hope that nobody watching this ends up in the same boat as we did, but if for some reason you do, I hope this video helps you!

Our Covid-19 timeline (for Madison):
January 2nd & 3rd - Unknowingly exposed to a Covid-positive individual
January 4th (Day 0) - Took negative Covid test and flew from NJ to Orlando; Received a text upon landing that I had been exposed to Covid
January 5th (Day 1) - Tested positive via a self-test taken at Old Key West; Moved to the Cabins at Fort Wilderness; Mild symptoms including raspy throat, migraine, and a cough in the night
January 6th - 10th (Days 2-6) - Stayed in managed isolation at the Cabins
January 10th - Released from the Cabins following the CDC stipulated 5-day isolation period
