Welcome to what is now by a WIDE margin the HARDEST no death run I have faced. I hope Valfaris is happy with the silver medal. After extensive practise, it took 207 attempts to get this run.

Uuuuugh, this one nearly killed me. Originally I intended to do just another NDR to add to my collection, but as I practised I thought, "Oh, crap. I think I'm going to try it without using stealth." For those who don't know, stealth is just like a shield that lasts for about 20 seconds. In some places it would be VERY handy, but not if you're an idiot like me who just wants to dice with death. A no death run of this game is essentially a no hit run, since you cannot sustain a single hit (except in the bonus stages, but you don't lose a life if you crash there, so they don't count). I felt I ought to complete the bonus stages as well, useless as the extra lives are on a no death run.

In some places it seemed that combat was not entirely necessary, so I just sat back and let the enemies fly by, even finding a sweet spot for the third stage boss. I dunno; maybe that's how you're supposed to fight it.

As this is the floppy disk version of the game, I set WinUAE's floppy drive emulation speed to 200%, just to keep things moving along at a reasonably brisk pace.

Don't you just love that the ending screen says "Now do it without losing a life!"? Oh, sweet irony.
