VW Passat B8 GTE w/GTI TCR muffler before after clips!

Here is my Passat GTE with rear silencer from Golf 7.5 GTI TCR! TCR is special designed to actually make some sound, std Golf GTI is the same as GTE = no sound.
The exhaust tips are from 2.0tsi 280hp.

So here is flyby video, before after clips and some DSG Farts, I think the sound is better later in this compilation (more heat maybe?)
Not the best video, a laugh from the cameraman and the car spinned for the first time w those tyres. Owned the car for years and finally did something, a big smile 😀

I bought TCR (Golf MK7.5) cause it has wider track than ClubSport S (Golf MK7) & fits my 2.0tsi 280hp pipes well centred.
Exhaust isn’t aligned, just temporary cause its need to be bended a bit at rear axle (I cut too far in). + the GTE exhaust is 55mm, while TCR is 65mm so you need adapter. I will make quad exhaust of them for more OEM look, best thing is that its fully legal :)

It has definitely changed the cold start ups, a bit louder, sounds more like a 2.0l engine than 1.4l & when the heat process is done it has a nice and even sound.
Interior wise it isn’t thaaat much, when accelerating the engines takes over the sound but there is a tone there :) I may try TCR Resonator or even a Delete for a bit more sound. Sometimes its very dampend too and when driving normally there is almost nothing to hear, maybe if its uphill.
The interior clips are filmed with Hybrid Charge mode which makes the car a bit heavy = more sound. Tryed to downshift but sadly the car goes back to E-Mode🤣 I need to tune the GTE button to keep the engine always on.
