This is an all-touch compilation of Sir Stanley Matthews performance in the 1953 FA Cup final, the game that is also known as "the Matthews final". It was his third FA Cup final — he had been on the losing side in 1948 and 1951 and he wasn't doing that again. Despite Bolton Wanderers dominating for most of the game, Matthews had managed to get the win over the line with — his partner Stan Mortensen scored a hat-trick and Blackpool snatched away the victory from their opponents despite losing 2:3 at the 88th minute.
