For the past two years, Apple seems to be very confused in the names of its new smartphones. The company missed the "iPhone 9", and after all decided not to use Arabic numerals in the names and introduced the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. #iphone11 #apple11 #2019
In connection with similar non-standard Apple moves, it is currently not known for certain exactly how the company will name its 2019 smartphones. So far there are two most likely and quite adequately sounding assumptions.
Apple may call the new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max smartphones, thereby returning to the more familiar name that has been in use for 10 years. And maybe continue to bend the line with Roman numerals in the names and give the new smartphones the names iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max.
Today, for simplicity and clarity, we call the following Apple iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max. But it is possible that the company will come up with something completely new.
Note that while leading analysts and insiders did not disclose the confirmed names of the new iPhone. They also conditionally call smartphones iPhone 11/11 Max or iPhone XI / XI Max.
All have long been accustomed to, that every year in relation to the new iPhone appears hundreds, if not thousands of leaks. And in the case of each new iPhone, all key features and design of the novelty became known long before the presentation.
In 2019, insiders decided to kill the intrigue as soon as possible. In early January, a reputable On Leaks insider published images of two official prototypes of the iPhone 11. An insider source managed to get CAD drawings of the prototypes that revealed the main innovations of the smartphone.
The first prototype has the usual body shape for the latest iPhone models, a noticeably reduced upper display frame and a triple camera. The system of three chambers is located in a triangle on a fairly large square platform protruding from the housing. However, it is easier to see once what is at stake.
This design of the iPhone 11 didn’t really like the Apple fans much. However, polls closer to the end of January showed that the appearance of the smartphone is very attractive and original, in the spirit of Apple. That’s not what the majority of users think so, but there’s no blatant negative to such a design.
The second prototype of the iPhone 11 has an identical body shape, still a smaller upper frame of the display and also a triple camera, but located vertically in the middle of the back surface of the body. Several photos for clarity.
The appearance of this prototype iPhone 11 also did not receive a single endorsement from Apple fans. The design of the prototype was called “similar to Android smartphones”, and the device itself was jokingly called the “cyclops”.
