Puppy Neutered | First 3 Days Recovery

Cosmo, a 9-month old Mini Sheepadoodle, day by day recovery progress after his surgery on Aug 9th, 2022.

The 1st day was the most difficult for him, with the sedative effects of anesthesia on him and his need to adapt to the e-collar. He didn't want to eat on the 1st day.

On the 2nd day, he was definitely more active. However, to make sure his wound can heal quickly, he could only have limit activities. His appetite came back and he was very happy with his special fresh meal 🤤

On the 3rd day, he seemed back to normal, except the incision site felt itchy and he wanted to scratch it from time to time. He was able to take casual walks. He was so happy to be outside again!
