Today, as per my good friend David's request, we are diving into the world of brass maintenance. This video is an in-depth tutorial on how to give your trombone a bath. In this video I did a lot more editing than normal, including timelapses with me playing The Acrobat added into the background. The editing portion is a bit tedious, but also rather enjoyable. You will need:
Your trombone
Slide grease or cream (preferably Yamaha or Slide-O-Mix)
A flexible "snake" brush
A mouthpiece brush
A cleaning cloth or rag for gentle polishing
An old towel to rest your trombone on
Degreaser or dish soap (Ajax works well)
