HOW TO SELECTIVELY BREED SHRIMP | How to create a great Neocaridina shrimp line

Selectively breeding shrimp is important to the health of your shrimp line. If you want to create or even maintain a good shrimp line, you have to be culling out the shrimp that do not have the characteristics that you want in that line.

Creating a good neocaridina shrimp line takes a lot of time to breed out the genes you don't want and to increase the genes that you do want. The name of the game is culling: cull hard, cull often, just cull.

You might maintain a small shrimp line in the beginning that you cull hard but from here you can select the best shrimp moving forward increasing your likelihood that the shrimp that are born are more similar to the ideal shrimp that you want.
