Olympic Discovery Trail: Bikepacking From Port Angeles to Crescent Lake - Day 1.

We leave Victoria on the Coho ferry and travel to Port Angeles to start our 'bikepacking' adventure. We ride the Olympic Discovery Trail from Port Angeles to the Log Cabin Resort where I happened to book a room for the night. We were pleasantly surprised that we had a lakeside room. After a short rest, we ride the Spruce Railway trail for an hour one way, before we turn back around. We enjoy riding through two tunnels and a short hike into Devil's punchbowl. We have to hurry to get back before the restaurant closes. We have a fabulous first day on our 3 day adventure.
