Students in the second year of the BEng and MEng Robotics degree programs have a module called: ROCO224 - Introduction to Robotics. In this module, part of the coursework is a fairly open task. Build a robotic arm from scratch, which must have more than 3 degrees of freedom, and make it do a task. That task can be almost anything they so choose and each year there is a great selection of mini projects which come out of it. This video highlights some of them just before the coursework submission deadline.
