In this video I'm forming the valley between the Dormer and the Gable of my workshop. I'm learning as I go but I think I've got the two different planes of thatch running together in such a way that water will be shed from one side of the valley to the other.

On this channel you can learn some tips on blade sharpening, saw sharpening, bringing old tools back into a lifetime of service. l I'm going to show off my Japanese tools and do project videos where I predominantly use Japanese tools to make stuff. I like starting woodworking projects with a log so you will get to see my axes and ripping saws at work before we move on to nomi and ryoba.

I'm no master so one of the thing I most want to do is just inspire people to jump in and have a go. What I've found is that even when a new project or learning a new skill is really really hard it gets easier really quickly.
