When the fourth main installment of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Sonic & Knuckles, released 3 years after the original game, people found the good ol' Sonic formula was getting stale and needed some innovation. Because the portion of Sonic Team led by Yuji Naka decided to move on from Sonic to work on new IPs such as NiGHTS and Ristar, it was now in the hands of a different department within the team to create a Sonic game for the upcoming Sega 32X: a hardware add-on produced to extend the dating Mega Drive's lifespan. All this led to an obscure 1995 game known as ''Knuckles' Chaotix'', a name that suggests Knuckles is the star of the show, along with a new group of characters referred to as the ''Chaotix''. How does the game fare with me? Watch and you shall find out.
