Cleaning and articulating the skeleton of a small Matamata turtle (Chelus fimbriata).
In this video I explain how I cleaned the skeleton, in addition to the assembly.
This is the first skeleton of two sister turtles. I cleaned the carapaces in two different ways, so that one is scaled and the other is scaleless, making it white.
These animals were bred in captivity, enjoying very good conditions, and died of natural causes.
