Justin Strode - Auroraborus | GUITAR PLAYTHROUGH

Hey everyone! We've barely made it to the end of the RPM Project this year and have finally wrapped up the recording of Palanavra, and I think it's time we celebrate a bit. And of course I have a weird way of celebrating things, so we're ripping through the first track off the new album, Auroraborus. This one's a bit of a slow burner as it sets the stage for the songs that follow, imprinting some specific musical motifs that spring up throughout the whole album. And in case I haven't made it clear, this is in fact a concept album so things do string together as the album plays. There's not a lot of lead work in this one, instead it's a bunch of alternate picking with mostly clean tones and ambient stuff going on. Things pick up towards the end and get nice and heavy, so don't worry, we're not going easy on this album.
