Greetings ! Now, normally, as you frequent listeners well know, we try to keep things reasonably fresh here, keeping the cobwebs at bay with whatever new sounds have managed to find their way to the top of the pile. But, I’ve been having a bit of a look back through the archives and I thought, after all this time, it might be quite nice to put together something of a "best of PsyDub" for the PsyAmb podcast.

Selecting these things is always a bit of a precarious business, isn't it? Highly subjective, of course. One person’s "gold" is another’s "get that off the turntable". But I’ve spent a fair few evenings narrowing down several thousand tracks into a selection of about eighty of what I’d consider to be absolute psydub magic.

So, here we have Volume One for your listening pleasure. There’ll be another two or maybe three of these volumes popping up between the usual uploads of newer material.

If you find this to your liking, and I do hope you do,you might consider subscribing to the channel. It’s a reliable way to ensure you don’t miss out on more psydub, psybient, psychill, and whatever else we can find that sounds interesting.

Fortunately for us a lot of these older tunes are still available online via Bandcamp so be sure to check out the artists involved and have a listen to what else they have worked on and support them if you have the means.
