Deerleg has plans to attend a kittypet house party, which are almost thwarted by his mother asking him to babysit his little sister, Pigeonkit. Stuck with her, he decides to bring her with him, unknowingly leading her to her death…

Hi guys! This is a brand new amv I’ll be working on, to expand the Hereditary cats au further. I was blown away by the overwhelming support for Sleepwalk, and I couldn’t be happier.
I’ve had Laika brewing in the back of my mind since 2021, and it’s so nice to finally let it out of my brain and onto the page.
This amv will be such a challenge for me, as it features interiors and a vehicle, but I’m prepared for that.

I will be streaming my work on this project over on my tiktok if you’re interested! My user is classfelidae. I will also aim to post daily on my community tab once I start working on it.

INFO ABOUT ROOTCLAN

Rootclan are a group of cats that have made their homes in the roots of trees, deep underground. While they used to be a relatively normal clan, this quickly changed when their deputy introduced them to a kittypet named Queenie.
She brought with her a strange religion, and garnered devotion from cats of both clan & kittypet origin.
