Part of the Asia Pacific championship. This year the weather was fairly wet making conditions at times very difficult. The culprit, the Monsoon storms had arrived early.
The championship was still undecided but the Australian, Ross Dunkerton was looking good to take the overall title. Lots of action in the plantations of Malaysia.
