The man accused of murdering four University of Idaho students may not stand trial until 2025.

Bryan Kohberger appeared in Latah County Court on Friday afternoon. During the hearing, Judge John Judge heard motions to dismiss the grand jury indictment against Kohberger, as well as a motion to appeal the indictment to the Idaho State Supreme Court. The judge ultimately denied those motions.

Additionally, prosecutors and the defense tried to schedule Kohberger's trial, but determined it may not happen until summer 2025.
