Hey everyone! I know you probably weren’t expecting a video where you actually see my face, but here we are! Let me tell you the story behind this video :)

Some time ago, through the work I’ve been doing on this channel, I realized that there are quite a few fingerstyle guitar songs that are originally meant to be played with a capo on the 6th fret, and many of them are truly beautiful. Having grown up watching YouTube videos like “Top 10 Fingerstyle Songs,” I thought it would be fun to create something similar — but focused specifically on one fret. So I gathered what I believe are the 10 best songs to play with the capo on the 6th fret.

As I started playing through them, I noticed that many of the chords overlapped. That’s when the idea hit me: why not turn it into a mashup? It felt like a unique concept, especially since I hadn’t come across any videos like it.

That said, this is my very first video of this kind, so I apologize if the quality isn’t perfect, but I promise I did the best I could with the tools I have. Let’s just call it an experiment. Who knows, maybe someone out there will enjoy it!

Just a note: the songs aren't listed in order of quality, so it’s not a ranked top 10 from best to least, but feel free to create your own ranking if you'd like!

One last thing: I had to leave out two songs I really love: Such Great Heights by Iron & Wine and Renan Rusch’s fingerstyle arrangement of Sweet Child of Mine. It was tough, but I had to make some cuts.
