During CINETomorrow we were joined by Filipe Pereira who led a workshop on “Green Horizons: Audio-Visual Industries' Path to Sustainability.” For those who missed the opportunity, Filipe sat with our very own Nadine Zidani to discuss sustainability in film for the launch of Advanced Media’s very first podcast series.

Nadine Zidani is a sustainability and climate activist, as well as the founder of @mena.impact, a company based in the UAE dedicated to integrating impact within organizations. She is on a mission to build the impact ecosystem in the MENA region, believing in the region's potential to lead by example in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and constructing sustainable business models. As a passionate advocate for environmental and social causes, Nadine actively raises awareness through public speaking, impactful social media content, and hosting @impact.talk podcast.

Filipe Pereira has emerged as a dynamic figure in Europe's cinematic scene and internationally. He established FEST – Festival of New Directors as a direct response to his vision for emergency cinema and passion for the film industry. He also helms the FEST FILM LAB, an educational endeavor for film professionals, which operates in cities like London, Berlin, Barcelona, New York, Lisbon, and Hong Kong.Lastly, Filipe's commitment to the industry has embraced an eco-conscious turn in his efforts towards environmental sustainability within the cinematic world.
