Now then, here's a bit of pub trivia for you - it's said that spoofing was born in pubs around 60 years ago, and it's a game that's played by groups of up to nine people, each armed with three coins of equal size. And while one hand is holding a pint of beer (traditionally), the other is used to conceal 3, 2, 1, or no coins in a closed fist.

The game itself is pretty straightforward - players take turns guessing the total number of coins hidden by everyone playing. Once the last player has made their guess, all hands are opened to reveal the total. The player who correctly guessed the total drops out of the game and the process is repeated until only one person is left standing (or sitting, depending on how many pints have been had).

Now, the first person to drop out is responsible for ordering the round of drinks, but it's the last person standing who has the privilege of paying for it. So, if you're feeling lucky and fancy a pint (or two, or three...), gather some mates and give spoofing a go - it might just be your lucky day!
