The 1% Threshold
The top goal is 100,000 votes (4%), but the critical threshold is 1% (25,000 votes). That maintains the Green Party's ballot line through 2028 Baltimore City elections, allowing future candidates to use the infrastructure this campaign builds—including public financing.


Building Infrastructure
This campaign creates tangible assets:

500 core Greens become the future bench
Staff gain skills to support future candidates
1,500 donor lists help candidates in six counties with public financing
Organizers and vision for ballot initiatives and alternative parties

Generational Work
The Maryland Green Party has maintained ballot access for 25 years—rare for small parties. The first 25 years focused on survival. The next 25 must focus on changing outcomes for Marylanders.
As we campaign we build institutions that allow future generations to change the world. This campaign is that generational work.
