The event that needs no introduction, the world's largest half marathon... it's the Great North Run!

It's been a few years since I last ran this and going in, I was rather excited! I'd been running well for weeks and had thoroughly enjoyed the build up to the race on social media. Sub-2 hours was my goal but... with the sheer volume of runners, a surprisingly hilly course and the extreme heat, would I succeed?
