Description:

The United Kingdom of Euchronia is home to many races, but there is discrimination and castes based on both race and wealth, leading to unrest. Worse yet, Count Louis Guiabern assassinated King Hythlodaeus V, starting a competition over the next in line for the throne. The protagonist, an Elda boy, must gather allies for the Resistance and find a way to save the comatose crown prince so that peace can be restored to the realm, but this will be a difficult task due to how his race is at the bottom of the caste.

Turns out Junah also snuck into Louis's room. Unfortunately, Glodell shows up and realizes both Junah and the protagonist are traitors. Junah reveals that knows about the party's mission and runs off.

Fidelio and Basilio spot the Charadrius flying and become suspicious about the party, connecting the dots to Zorba's death.

Glodell captures Junah and uses her as a hostage while his dog, Hector, attacks the protagonist. Junah goads Glodell into accepting a duel with the protagonist, and somehow, the royal magic doesn't protect Glodell from the protagonist's tackle. Junah unlocks her archetype, despite her characterization being sparse before this event.

Glodell tries to attack even after begging for his life, and the royal magic kills him because the protagonist is now in the top 20s. We convince Louis and his followers that Glodell is the real traitor. Well, technically Glodell wasn't really loyal to Louis to begin with.

Junah is actually another resistance agent, who was meant to get the formula. Her mission is separate from Grius's assassination mission, which is why there was no communication with her.

The Mustari candidate, Edeni, is upset about the second part of the tournament. He tells us the Drakodios is on Virga Island, but the people won't part with it willingly. He quits the tournament when it becomes clear that this is all a farce to ensure Sanctism's dominance.

Neuras made the Gauntlet Runner capable of maritime travel, and Fidelio and Basilio will be accompanying the party.
