Summer Series 2015: Republic Services 2238

Here we have one of Republic's new Half/Packs with the Odyssey package at work on the Friday portion of my trash route. My driver was on vacation for the week, so Dave was back on it filling in. They had to shuffle some trucks around and lucky for me he was in this while 2234 was being used in place of one of the pythons. The normal driver of this truck likes it, but talking with Dave and a few of the other guys who have drove it, the system takes some getting used to. With the new setup, it's a lot harder to be smooth with the Curotto. The auto-dump also makes it hard to take furniture because you can't slam the box, and it also likes to dump things on the cab shield rather than in the hole. They aren't bad trucks by any means, but just have a few kinks to deal with. This one came in around March/April, and they just got another one (2237) in late July. Anyway, a big thanks goes out to Dave as always for letting me film!
