Seth will be speaking about how every able-bodied human has the capacity to run 100 miles. He will support his claim with physiological concepts and evolutionary biology to show that our running capacity is much greater than we think. Seth is a former Division 1 lightweight rower, ultramarathon runner, men’s rowing coach, and Whittall House BFA. He has completed more than 15 ultras, ranging from 50 kilometres to 170 kilometres, including a double-crossing of the Grand Canyon, the Willapa 100-mile endurance run, and a self-supported expedition to the highest point on Vancouver Island.
