This update has had a far bigger impact than Core 1 of this year, and we’re seeing patterns that suggest the next update could occur again at the end of August.

Core updates don’t penalise websites, but favour quality content and experience. As SEOs, it is our job to understand that our role is no longer just employing a tick box approach to ranking factor optimisation.

Instead, as our brand becomes intrinsically linked and better understood by algorithms than ever before, we must ensure that relevance and quality is our priority across our entire digital ecosystem.
