Welcome to my personal growing review of modern climbing rose ‘ Soleil vertical’

Rumoured to be one of the best yellow climbing roses ever bred it has a bold primary unapologetic yellow flower with no copper or brassy tones to it whatsoever

Flowering freely all the way from June to the end of September it reaches reliably around 10 to 12 feet high with a spread of around 6 to 8 feet

Doing well in full sun or partial shade it has faultless foliage and great disease resistance. The leaves are in deep rich Emerald green with a high gloss sheen, they make the backdrop for the brilliant golden yellow flowers which measure around 3 to 3 1/2 inches in diameter

this climbing rose has an amazingly strong repeat and will flower almost all summer along and has won multiple awards in Europe and the UK, it’s fast to establish and will soon reward you with multiple flushes of flowers

The fragrance is lovely warm and savoury with notes of sage and pepper and upper notes of citrus which gives it a beautiful sweet finish to the fragrance
