Curb Appeal Project - Part 2

Описание к видео Curb Appeal Project - Part 2

When I started this curb appeal project, I honestly lacked direction, but I found inspiration. My parents had an old mailbox post and the simple detail on the mitered cap left an impression on me. So I took my circular saw and 'chiseled' away in silence. I figured, why not share that experience void of my typical narration. And I ran out of my favorite French pastry. Bummer.

Materials Used:
4x4 post, leftovers from the rain barrel project (cedar pickets, hanger straps, screws), a bucket , a 50lb bag of fast setting concrete, decorative black metal hanger brackets, and a pair of hanging basket flowers.

I had a quart of stain and sealer. It wasn't the right color from a previous project, so I hopped over to Home Depot and they kindly mixed in a darker stain. I kept some of the lighter stain for the pickets.

(p.s. I'm no concrete expert, but I followed the exact directions for a no mix solution, pouring a gallon of water. It's not structural by no means and intended to provide sufficient weight to hold planters.) #shorts
