Gujarat Elections 2022: BJP releases manifesto, promises UCC, anti-radicalisation cell

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released its manifesto for the Gujarat Assembly elections which promised to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and set up an 'Anti-radicalisation Cell' to identify and eliminate terror threats. Other promises in the document included the creation of "20 lakh employment opportunities" and taking the state's economy to USD one trillion in the next five years.
