I may regret selling my 2017 Dell XPS 15...

Benchmarking a 2017 Dell XPS 15 9560 with i7-7700HQ and Geforce GTX 1050 4GB mobile GPU in 2023 games and emulation.

I bought my XPS 9560 in a different time - back when I had a regular job and went outdoors more. Despite my prejudice against laptops beforehand, this slim, Macbook-esque design won me over with its good looks, and reasonable performance for its size and weight. 5 years later, it's been relegated to scriptwriting and video capture duty - and can be picked up on the used market for less than £400. As a general purpose laptop it still has plenty going for it - but, can it game in 2023?
