Honestly, I don't know how I didn't think to make this video earlier. Obviously, Bojack has a very concrete and observable character arc over the course of the six seasons, and changes quite a great deal as the show goes on. There's quite a bit that he needs to work on, and thus, there's lots of very real lessons for the audience to draw from through his journey to be better.

This show teaches a ton about recovery, how to treat those close to you, and the importance of extending compassion to our fellow human beings (or, in this case, animals in general). And while Bojack's journey can at times be extremely frustrating, it's also incredibly realistic, and has so much to say about addiction, damage, and moving forward.
