I purchased my Savage Rascal Target XP from a internet dealer through Gunbroker.com. I saw the little rifle while browsing options for another rifle. When making the purchase online one must select a nearby federally licensed dealer known as an “FFL”. The FFL will run the proper background check when you pick up the firearm, and complete the proper form for the ATF. Usually, there is a week or so wait from the time I make the online purchase until my FFL notifies me that online purchase has arrived at his store. The anticipation on this little rifle was a little more than usual because of the spontaneous nature in which I selected it. So, I was like a little kid on Christmas morning by the time I drove to my favorite little backyard range at EJI Firearms, Copperas Cove, TX.
