This is the first time I have done a Ring pour without my faithful 24k Decoart metallics, it was interesting to see how it came out just using the deep gold from Amsterdam acrylics paints.
So started with a straight pour then ring pour.

The Pouring Medium I use is mainly Floretrol, mixed with Liquitex Gloss Medium and Varnish, If I am just using it to practice on a particular pour I may use the Elmers Glue mix of 70% Glue to 30% Water.

The paints that I mostly used are the Mont Marte studio acrylics (very affordable for people who are just starting out on the art journey), dimensions, or premixed pouring paints, Liquitex Basics and Amsterdam.

I always like to mix up my paints the day before I’m going to paint, that way you eliminate the hundred of bubbles that come through mixing.
