Описание к видео JUMPS COACH MUST-DO PRE-SEASON SPRINT DRILLS

In this short we take a look at a simple series of pre-season sprint drills you can do to get yourself ready to train.
Leg cycles are great for working the sprint muscles at a low intensity (if structured to do so) and can build good technique foundations and also reduce potential for injury.
You'll see:
Hands on hips low cycle
A close-up of the cycling action
And an on-sport version
Maintain an upright torso throughout and keep the feet up so that you get a solid contact on the track
Alwayf focus on rotating the heel - from the back to the front.
It's by continually working the hip muscles how - everything else being equal - you will develop your speed. The hip muscles are the most important for sprinting speed.
