Over Christmas, I stayed at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, located inside the iconic Wilshire Grand Center, the tallest building in Los Angeles. This video captures the full experience — from entering the hotel at street level, rising to the 70th-floor sky lobby, and settling into a corner King Suite on the 59th floor with sweeping city views.

The InterContinental DTLA occupies floors 31 through 68 of the Wilshire Grand Center, a 73-story, 1,100-foot skyscraper completed in 2017. With 889 guest rooms, it’s one of the largest InterContinental hotels in the Americas — and easily one of the most visually striking places to stay in downtown LA.

This video was filmed using a GoPro, focusing on natural movement, real perspective, and the feeling of being high above the city. From skyline views and quiet moments in the suite to the scale of Los Angeles below, this is DTLA seen from a completely different angle.
