The PGA ‘s 2017 Travelers Championship takes place June 22nd – June 25th, AT THE TPC River Highlands – Cromwell, Connecticut.
This tournament dates back to 1952 when it was known as the Insurance City Open, and then the Greater Hartford Open but Travelers picked up sponsorship in 2007.
The event is extremely popular with fans and has been among the top draws on the PGA Tour for many years. The Golf Channel televises the action on Thursday and Friday for this event while CBS picks up the coverage on the weekend...


2017 Odds

The Travelers Championship field for 2017 will include Jason Day who is ranked in the Top 10 in the world.
Travelers Championship Tournament Director Nathan Grube was quoted saying “Jason has established himself as one of the best players and biggest draws in golf,”
. “We’re excited that our fans will be able to watch him again at TPC River Highlands. Our already strong tournament field just became even stronger.” It will be Day’s third appearance in the Travelers Championship.
Other early commitments for this event are Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Bubba Watson, Jim Furyk, Zach Johnson and defending champion Russell Knox.



The Travelers Championship is played on TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. The course is a par 70 which measures 6,841 yards. It is located just outside of Hartford,
It is best known for it’s 4 finishing holes that are some of the most exciting in all of golf.
The course was redesigned by Pete Dye in 1984, and was redone again in 1989 , when it became the TPC at River Highlands. The course record is 60, and that was set in 2011 by Patrick Cantlay.....
