A new defence technology company is setting up in Ottawa to monitor Canada's Arctic as geopolitical tensions rise. CTV’s Dylan Dyson reports on Dominion Dynamics, a startup founded by Eliot Pence that is opening a 25,000-square-foot facility in Kanata, Ont. Invest Ottawa CEO Sonya Shorey says the region is becoming a hub for defence innovation as Prime Minister Mark Carney pledges to double military spending. The company plans to use sensor networks to detect drones and submarines, a move experts say is crucial as U.S. President Donald Trump renews interest in Greenland.
