After that first spark lit by Tapobhumi Narmada, life began shifting in ways I couldn’t explain.

It started casually—I found myself drawn to Shiva. At first, it was simple: offering flowers, lighting incense, bowing before His image. Nothing intense, nothing formal. Just a quiet pull of devotion.

But soon, books about Him began finding me—stories of His cosmic dance, His silence in Kailash, His wild ash-smeared form, His boundless compassion. I felt as if I wasn’t reading them for the first time, but remembering something I had always known.

Slowly, the world around me started changing too. Loud music that once thrilled me now felt heavy. Makeup and western dresses lost their charm. There was an inner shift I couldn’t name then. I only knew I was restless in a different way—not rebellious anymore, but confused.

Looking back now, I see it clearly: that phase was not confusion. It was a gentle chiseling of my being. A shaping of the soul. Mahadev was beginning to unmake and remake me—breaking old patterns so a new self could emerge.

That was the next step of my journey—the quiet arrival of Shiv into my life.
