Follow along on our Homestead Highway Journey. This year we chose to take our slow season as an opportunity to organize mission trips to support and highlight small farms while raising funds to give back to homeless. Our first stop was Barnesville Georgia. We took a two night stop at the Bunn Ranch highlighting their beautiful property and stayed in their primitive cabin listed on Airbnb.
We visited Honeywood farms to have brunch and we were amazed! Their produce, groceries, and ice cream were great additions to the beautiful views. We ordered sandwiches and ice creams from their cafe which also, did not disappoint. I highly recommend the pimento grilled cheese on sourdough!

These were days 1-3 of our Homestead Highway project. After leaving Georgia we continued south towards Ocala,Florida where our next stop was yet another wonderful Airbnb with an awesome family, farm fresh produce, and a suprise pop up farm market. We are planning another trip in March 2026.
