►The 2nd generation of VW's EA888 2.0 TSI is an evolution of their ever-popular 2.0 TSI engine. Even though the engine may seem similar to the other generations, there are considerable differences between the EA888 Gen 2 and the EA888 Gen 1 and Gen 3.

The EA888 Gen 2 goes by multiple engine codes depending on the application and if it is equipped for flex fuel: CAEB, CPMA, CAED, & CPMB. These engines are found in the Audi lineup, from the A4 and A5, and even in Audi's most popular SUV, the Q5.
