The Bullet Cluster is a pair of colliding galaxy clusters, and provides compelling evidence for the existence of dark matter. More details about the importance of the Bullet Cluster for the study of dark matter can be found in the description of that video.

The simulations were run by Andrew Robertson (http://community.dur.ac.uk/andrew.rob...) at the Institute for Computational Cosmology (http://icc.dur.ac.uk/) in Durham. A version of this video without the watermark is available upon request. For those interested in how the video was made from the simulation data I hope to write about this soon.
