Mappy 38th Anniversary Orchestral Performance [Animation and Remix]

37 years ago, Mappy emerged from Bandai Namco Entertainment. The ultimate game of cat and mouse would go on to become one of Namco’s most popular arcade games, right up there with Pac-Man. Today, Mappy wishes to share with you all a special performance, orchestrated by the micro-police officer himself! He is joined by some old friends, (and some new ones as well) to give you a once in a lifetime musical experience! Not everything goes according to plan, though. What could possibly go wrong? Woah… This is different, haha. There’s a lot of moving parts from different programs here, so I’m glad to have this out. I hope you are all having a happy holiday, 2020 is almost over. On to the new year! Seriously though, this was such an odd project. I had been working on the song since around the release of my Pac-Man 40th remix, and have not been satisfied with it. The more I work on it, the less desirable the results are to me. That being said, I figured the best way to toy with it, would be to give it unique visuals, and here we are. Mappy, Pac-Man, Taizo Hori, and Don-Chan are here to give you an orchestrated version of the Mappy theme, and get brutally interrupted by Goro and his gang. Why? Why not? I don’t ask these questions, I just make stuff. I hope you all enjoyed! This was a lot of fun to put together.
