Is this the Perfect Firepit for the Pacific NorthWET?

Trying to get a fire going in the snow is challenging, doing so in the Pacific NorthWET with our famously wet snow is even more so. All the wood is wet, even dead branches on the trees. I've struggled with this for a while but with this raised firepit I may have found the solution.
