On February 12, 2014, Redevelopment Management Associates presented the Margate City Center Conceptual Vision Plan to the Margate CRA Board. This Conceptual Vision Plan is a blueprint for strategic development of the City Center, a 36 acre site centrally located near major regional roadways. Redevelopment of the site will include commercial and recreational features and a continuum of residential options to make Margate a community of choice for its diverse population and employee base. It is anticipated that the development of the City Center will happen incrementally over a period of time with support from City, CRA, and private investment to create a destination where residents can shop, gather and live as they transition through life stages.
