X99 may be the best platform to build a PC in 2024...

LGA 2011-3, the updated version of the X79 LGA 2011 platform, was the most expensive platform of its time. Today though, both the high core count Xeons that used to cost over 1000$ and the over 500$ motherboards have come down in price dramatically, to under 100 bucks.
