What is the difference between Scenario and Scenario Outline in the Cucumber Feature file?

In Cucumber, a scenario represents a single test case, while a scenario outline is used to represent a set of related test cases with varying input values.

A scenario is written using the "Scenario" keyword, and it consists of a series of steps that describe the actions that should be performed as part of the test case.

Each step typically includes a Gherkin keyword (such as Given, When, or Then) followed by a statement that describes the action being performed.

A scenario outline, on the other hand, is written using the "Scenario Outline" keyword.

It includes a template for the scenario with placeholders for input values.

The input values are provided using a data table or an external data source such as a CSV file.

The data is substituted for the placeholders in the scenario outline, generating multiple scenarios that represent different test cases.

For example, let's say you have a scenario that tests the login functionality of a website. The scenario might include steps such as "Given the user is on the login page", "When the user enters valid credentials", and "Then the user is logged in". If you want to test the login functionality with multiple sets of valid and invalid credentials, you can use a scenario outline with a data table containing the different sets of credentials.
