"Towards the Sunrise" is a collection of folklore, reality and eye-witnessed events. After the Duars Act 1869, Totopara, Alipurduar district of West Bengal  has been reserved for the Totos ever since. But their Livelihood, Professions, Education, Health and Transportation system are really challenging.Though Dhaniram Toto who invented the Toto script has been Awarded "Padmasree" In 2022 . But 1991.96 acres land of Toto Para mouza having 1630 numbers of the Toto population is still underdeveloped. A total sketch of the Toto tribes has been projected in this documentary film.
