‘Breaking Chains’ came about last year when I was invited to write a song for a podcast.
I co-wrote it with Axle Whitehead, and together we crafted a story based on real struggles.
It tells the story of a woman battling a gambling addiction — a journey that ultimately led to prison after a series of serious mistakes.
