The UK's most prestigious LadyBoy competition, Miss MangoTree, takes place every October in Mango Tree restaurant in London's Victoria.
We were granted exclusive access behind the scenes of this high stakes beauty pageant in 2016. Our short documentary shows all that goes into preparing for the event, the various looks and performances as well as how tight the competition is at UK's most prestigious LadyBoy beauty contest.

The girls come from all over the world, particularly Southeast Asia - Thailand and Vietnam, and each has crafted beautiful, detailed costumes based on the Circus theme of the evening, as well as a swimsuit and evening gown round. There are emotional highs and lows as the girls duke it out to be crowned the winner and one of the contestant even comes out as transgender during their performance.
